Canaves Ena Review — Santorini, Greece

Ena is where the Canaves story started — opened in the 80s by the same family that runs the portfolio today, in suites that trace back to 17th-century wine caves. It's a little more minimalist than its younger siblings, and a 2024 renovation brought it up to date beautifully.

With just 18 suites, it feels genuinely intimate. Like Canaves Oia Suites, it sits higher on the Caldera, which means more privacy than most Caldera offerings — and the swim-up pool bar is a highlight, a fun social addition on an island where couples tend to keep to themselves. Adami, the restaurant alongside the main pool, handles authentic Greek gastronomy.

Know the trade-offs: rooms run slightly smaller than Oia Suites, and not every room has a water feature the way the Andronis properties guarantee.

Rooms are slightly smaller than Oia Suites. The intimacy is the point, but square footage isn't the selling feature here.

The value positioning doesn't always show up in the rate. It's framed as the accessible Canaves, but pricing almost always lands right where Andronis Boutique does — compare in my Santorini ranking.
