How the rankings work

Three rules

01Seen first. A hotel only gets ranked after I’ve toured it or slept in it. On-file research alone doesn’t earn a number.

02Nobody pays for placement. No press trips, no sponsored positions — nobody moves up a list except by being better in person.

03Every “right for” gets a “wrong for.” A ranking that can’t tell you who shouldn’t book isn’t a ranking — it’s an ad.
