Sunday is the entry point to the Canaves portfolio and the most relaxed of the collection in style — a ten-bedroom villa plus eight standalone suites set in the very heart of Oia's traditional town, with an exceptional three-to-one staff-to-guest ratio.

The setup is simple: one master suite has a private pool, and the remaining accommodations share the main pool. Taken suite by suite, it's the most budget-friendly way into Canaves quality and Canaves service.

But the real play is the buyout. Take the villa and all eight standalone units together and you have effectively an eighteen-bedroom private compound — with no age restrictions once the contract is signed — which makes Sunday my pick for the best villa in Santorini for a group of friends, a family milestone, or a celebration that wants Oia outside the front door.

01: Only the master suite has a private pool. Everyone else shares the main pool — fine for a buyout group, worth knowing for a couple booking a single suite. Sunday guests can also use the pool at Canaves Epitome, a short shuttle away.
02: Age restrictions lift only on a buyout. Booked as individual suites, standard Canaves age policies apply; signed as a full-villa contract, kids of any age are welcome.
03: Book it as a celebration. This property makes the most sense taken whole — honeymoons and couples are better served at Oia Suites or Epitome.
