Cosme, Paros — Stayed & Reviewed

Paros’ best beach stay. The laid-back luxury is genuinely refreshing, the rates are high — and the base rooms are massive, larger than many hotels’ junior suites, which is the rare entry category I’d happily book.

Wrong for: Anyone chasing the Mykonos scene — Naousa is lively, not flashy. And skip the plunge-pool rooms over the shared pool: they overlook the main infinity pool and aren’t particularly private.
Room to book: A base room, honestly — they’re enormous. Going bigger, the Cosmos Suite is the showpiece, but I preferred the Enastro for privacy.
When to go: May or September–October. Shoulder-season rates drop dramatically from peak summer.
Setting: Beachfront with a private beach club out front — no shuttles, no sunbed battle — and Naousa’s restaurants on foot.
Getting here: I arrange private transfers from the port or airport, private boat days to Antiparos and the small islands, and private boat transfers to Mykonos or Naxos instead of the ferry.

The circular spa and gym buildings are genuinely unique architecture, and both deliver. The private beach club sits directly in front of the hotel. And between the beach, spa and dining, you could stay four nights without getting bored — rare on the islands.

Despite what you may have heard, Paros is not “the new Mykonos.” Naousa is lively and fun without the flashy scene — a really easy, nicely rounded island. Cosme is exactly that as a hotel.
