Milos has long been the island my clients ask about most, and the hardest one to place them on. The landscape is incredible, but the top-end hotel product has been a handful of small boutiques. Onero, a brand-new five-star resort on the hillside at Parasporos, is the property the island has been waiting for: 31 suites and villas cascading down three terraced levels toward the Aegean, every single one with a sea view.
The design leans into the island. Volumes of rough local stone and soft white stucco follow the natural slope, planted terraces of native grasses run between the levels, and most keys come with a private pool, whirlpool, or generous furnished terrace. At the top of the range sit real villas (three-bedroom Ninemia villas sleeping six and a single grand four-bedroom Orama villa sleeping ten), a scale of villa-with-hotel-service that barely existed on Milos before.
The location is quietly strategic: ten minutes from the port at Adamas, twenty from the airport, fifteen from Plaka's sunset lanes, and eighteen from the white moonscape of Sarakiniko. What Stands Out
Every key has a sea view. All 31 suites and villas face the water across three cascading levels, so there are no garden-view consolation categories.
The villas fill a real gap. Three three-bedroom Ninemia villas (six guests, 160 sqm of outdoor space) and one grand four-bedroom Orama villa (ten guests) bring true villa scale with hotel service to an island that had almost none.
Private water almost everywhere. Ground-floor Eos and Anasa suites take private pools and pool terraces; upstairs, Avra suites get whirlpools on 16 sqm terraces.

Know Before You Book
Suites are on the small side. The core categories run about 30 sqm inside, and the 15–16 sqm private terraces do the living. Need real space? That's what the villas are for.
Parasporos is just a base. Rent a car and treat the hotel as your launchpad: Adamas in ten minutes, Plaka in fifteen, Sarakiniko in eighteen.
