Cali is flashier on paper — Kalesma won me over.
Kalesma’s laid-back beauty is what stayed with me: a glass of wine in the jacuzzi at golden hour with the bay below, the fire pit at sunset before dinner, and a design language unlike anything else on the island. Dining is pleasant rather than the headline — and Mykonos’s remarkable restaurant scene is minutes away.
But Cali is a genuinely remarkable property I’d happily return to — refined, personal service, staff who greet you by name, and I’d stay again just for that gym. For fitness-minded travelers and privacy seekers, it settles the question by itself.
