Eighteen suites carved from 17th-century wine caves, run by the same family since the 80s and brought fully up to date by a 2024 renovation. Higher on the Caldera — which buys real privacy — with a swim-up bar that adds rare social energy.

If a water feature is non-negotiable, or stairs are a concern, Luxury Suites settles it — every one of its 39 rooms has a plunge pool, jacuzzi, or full pool, and it’s my pick in the portfolio when mobility is a factor.
But Ena has the most personal story on the Caldera — one family since the 80s, suites that trace to 17th-century wine caves — and the team there, especially longtime sales director Des, is a big reason I trust sending clients to the property. The intimacy is the point; just know the square footage isn’t the selling feature.
