The upside on both is real: the locations compete with anything on the island, and if either follows Andronis and Canaves into continuous renovation, it moves straight back up my ranking — I’ll be first in line to re-review when that happens.
On points, this isn’t close: Mystique is my top Marriott Bonvoy play on the caldera, and 35–45% of its guests have already done that math. The bones and the location are genuinely good — on a redemption, you’re getting one of the best positions on the island for points.
