The Ferragamo Family’s Hotels · Florence · Rome · Milan
Small, beautifully designed hotels from the family behind Ferragamo, with service that makes you feel like a regular from the first night.
The Lungarno Collection is the Ferragamo family’s hotel group. Most of it sits along the Arno in Florence, the family’s home city, and the Portrait hotels carry the same idea to Rome and Milan: very few rooms, Italian design, and a team that remembers you.
I am working through the collection one hotel at a time, starting with the one I stayed in. Each review below is written from my own visit.
Florence · I stayed September 2026
37 rooms and suites on the Arno, steps from the Ponte Vecchio. The day before I arrived I broke my camera’s SD card. The team went out and bought me a new one, and had it to me within the hour. That is Portrait.
Best for couples, fans of Italian design, and anyone who wants high-touch service that never feels invasive.

For most couples, Portrait Firenze. It is where I stayed, and the service and the Ponte Vecchio views made it a highlight of my trip.
No. Rates through me are identical to booking direct.
Work with me and you get two things: Fora perks, and someone who knows the Lungarno Collection personally. As a Fora advisor, my clients typically receive a space-available upgrade, daily breakfast and a hotel credit. I know the property and the team, so I personalize your stay, from the room I request to what’s arranged before you arrive, and I’m your direct line to them while you’re there. Rates are identical to booking direct.
Tell me your dates and which cities are on the list, and I will come back with the right hotel and room in each.
